Sixteen DDR2 DIMM sockets allow the full power of the AMD Opteron processor to be harnessed while delivering new levels of power and performance into a dense 2U form factor. The PCI Express based Ethernet chipset allows for maximum network throughput. Remote management functionality is provided through the optional IPMI 2.0 interface.

The RM2520 server from Verari Systems supports non-uniform memory access time (NUMA) memory management architecture, and supports the latest operating systems including Red Hat® Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux, CentOS and more.
