From homeland security to weather modeling, the challenges faced by our nation continues to increase demands of their enterprise computing infrastructure. A close collaboration between OEMs and the government divisions that are modernizing their enterprise programs is required to push development. At Verari Systems, we understand that the value of our solutions derives from the issues they resolve and the time-to-results advantages they provide, not just the innovative technology they showcase.

Verari Systems provides the most powerful, reliable and flexible systems to the Government and Defense industry. Through collaboration with leading technology partners such as Intel®, AMD, Microsoft®, NVIDIA®, SUSE and Red Hat®, we develop integrated solutions, supercomputing clusters with unsurpassable density.

Unlike the competition, Verari Systems’ BladeRack 2 can accommodate up to 576 processing cores and a peak performance of approximately 5.8 Tflops of computing power in a standard sized 8 sq. foot cabinet. We are the only ISO 9001:2000 certified manufacturer that can provide this incredible amount of computing power in such a small footprint.

"When we first started using the clusters we linked the code against MPICH and LAM (opensource MPI implementations). The code would mysteriously crash at random times when running with MPICH and would not even run using LAM. We contacted the maintainers of both libraries for assistance and neither was able to offer much in the way of help. We then turned to Verari Systems. They helped port MPI/Pro so our code would run reliably. This modification took the Verari Systems’ engineers about a day. Using MPI/Pro we can now schedule very long runs on the clusters without fear of a crash and losing the results. In addition, we found that MPI/Pro is about 30% faster in terms of wall clock time per processor than MPICH for our code."
