The rugged 1U chassis allows the ability to house numerous hard drive
options and up to 8GB of DDR memory. The Verari Systems RM1506 can
also utilize standards-based high speed interconnects making it one
of the most powerful, scalable 1U servers available. The dual processor
design harnesses the performance of the latest NVIDIA® Pro 2200
chipset and offers an enterprise class server in a dense 1U form factor.
The RM1506 from Verari Systems provides symmetric multiprocessing
(SMP) scalability. SMP is a multiprocessing architecture in which
multiple processors can share the same system memory. The RM1506 also
supports non-uniform memory access time (NUMA) memory management architecture
and is certified with the latest operating systems including Microsoft®
Windows® 2003 Server, SUSE Linux and Red Hat® Linux.
